“Made from scratch in Minnesota”, that’s what the back of my box of Sojos treats proudly displays. Sojourner Farms is a Minneapolis based company that specializes in all natural dog food and dog treats. I had seen their unique premix dog food at local stores, but it wasn’t until a recent mention of them that I took some time to find out more about their products–and let me tell you, I was excited I did!
For some time now I have been on a secret hunt for a local company that provides healthy dog treats to accompany my super smelly secret weapon during portrait sessions and other events. Sojourner Farms definitely delivers in both the healthy and local categories with options that are organic, grain free, and wheat and corn free, and with ingredient lists that are short and filled with words I can read without twisting my face in a knot. To top it off their packaging is just fantastic enough to find itself in a thank you gift here and there.
With a willing taste tester at home, and many more at a recent event, I can say that the newest addition to my gear bag is also a big hit with pups of all sizes!
